Speed run of F.E.A.R. on Extreme difficulty in 38 segments, completed on June 4 2007. Available in three versions: low/normal/high quality DivX. Author's comments: The SDA staff and those who wanted to see this run are the ones to thank. First of all, sorry for using 7000x4500 resolution, FSAA and everything else set on max/on. The graphics are so stunning that you won't be able to hold up with whatever happens in the run, thinking about what my PC specs are. I'm just used to playing like that,... Speed run of F.E.A.R. on Low difficulty in 35 segments appended to one file, completed on August 12 2007. Available in three versions: low/normal/high quality DivX. Author's comments: Phew, finally! I never thought that the lowest difficulty available in a game can be this hard. Of course, completing the game on this difficulty level is child's play, but like always, the problem occurs when you're trying to finish it as fast as possible. Most of the levels had to be split into two segments just... Topic: F.E.A.R.
Speed run of Fable in 2 segments dont on January 31 2005. Two segments are appended into one file, and a failed segment at the start of the 2nd segment is also left in. Author's comments: This is my first speedrun and I am proud to present it. This run has two segments. Segment 1 is 45 minutes long and segment 2 is the rest of the movie. Some facts: -If you roll with your character he is invulnerable. -You will get more money if you make a quest without clothes. -I tried to get a good weapon as... Topics: Fable, Xbox
Single-segment speed run of Fable done on July 13 2005. Available in 3 versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60fps high quality. Author's comments: This is my first recorded run for SDA and I'm very proud to present it. My thanks goes to Radix, Nathan Jahnke, and the rest of SDA for creating such a hardcore speed running site. And, of course, thanks to SDA for hosting my pleasantly annoying rendition of Fable speed running at it's most moderate greatness *cough*. I would also like to thank... Topics: Fable, Xbox
Single-segment speed run of Fallout done on December 22 2005. Timing does not include any loading time, but does include skipped cutscenes and dialogs. Available in three versions: Normal/low quality (320x240) or high quality (640x480). Author's comments: I'd like to thank Radix for all of his work on SDA, Ekarderif for recording this run, and several of the members on NMA for suggesting improvements for this run. This will be my final run for the game unless I find some major improvements that... favoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Fallout, Single-segment
Single-segment speed run of Fallout, done on December 21 2004. Timing does not include any loading time, but does include skipped cutscenes and dialogs. Author's comments: I based my run on WhiteChocobo666's speed guide from gameFAQs, but his guide was nearly impossible to use for a single segment run, so I played around with it and found one exploit that really makes this run possible. If you enter combat manually, use all but one AP to move, then end combat and immediately begin combat again,... Topics: Fallout, Single-segment
Single-segment speed run of Fallout 2, done on April 21 2004. Timing does not include any loading time, but does include skipped cutscenes and dialogs. Author's comments: I'm pretty sure this is the first known recorded attempt at a speed run for Fallout 2, which kind of surprises me given the game's structure. Having played it for so long, I knew that the way the game was built would make a speed run very viable, and I think this video reflects that. The run is recorded with the latest offical... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Fallout, Single-segment
Speed run of Far Cry in 21 segments completed on January 20 2005. Available in three versions: High quality (640x480) or normal/low quality (320x240). Author's comments: Notes on the video: ------------------- All of the loading screens before and after each segment were cut out, and the remaining parts appended "as is". I also recorded the game menu and final cutscene independently, and later added them to the video. Low/Normal quality: 320x240, High quality: 640x480. General notes... Topic: Far Cry
I finally managed to get this done. Atlast! This is still a highly underestimated game. You play as the hero (of course) who returns to his town to find it almost deserted. It turns out to be the evil dwarfs who is behind this. So off he goes. This improved version is MUCH faster than my old. This is because of several things. First of all, I changed tactic when killing enemies. When you are about to hit something and standing on the ground the hero will stop and swing his sword. This can be... Single-segment speed run of Faxanadu, done on December 11 2006. Abuses death to save time. Available in five versions: low/normal quality DivX, and normal/high/low quality H.264 MPEG-4. Author's comments: Faxanadu was one of my favorite games when I was younger. I played through it several times always taking my time, building up for the best equipment and exploring every nook and cranny. Those playthroughs usually took upwards of two weeks, the first much longer than that, and I had to restart... Topics: Faxanadu, Single-segment, NES
For more details, see http://tasvideos.org/207M.html Eggerland is a predecessor to the NES Adventures of Lolo games, and, in certain ways, it has many more features than Adventures of Lolo 1. The author has explained the game (and the movie) very well, so we recommend reading his comments . This movie abuses a couple of the game's bugs in a surprising way. Original: http://tasvideos.org/1365M.html This game is Super Mario Bros, the original, but on Famicom Disk System. It is much similar to the ROM version of the game, except for one minor difference that is demonstrated here. The â1 stage is completely different. In the NES and Unisystem versions, the â1 stage repeats infinitely and cannot be completed, but in FDS, it can be completed, and then come â2 and â3. The â3 stage in FDS is a castle level, and completing it ends the game, even... Topics: Super, Mario, Bros., Bros, FDS, Tool, Assisted, Speedrun, TAS

For more details, see http://tasvideos.org/684M.html This is Bisqwit's 2nd attempt but our first publication on record. It uses the same warp route as modern movies but does not use modern time-saving glitches (as they were not known at the time). Power-ups are avoided in this movie. In 1-2 there is a nice use of a wall-jump to save time. Topics: Tool-assisted, Speedrun, FDS, Super Mario Bros 2, Bisqwit
